Eligibility
Parking Services will accommodate requests for medical permits, or temporary permit upgrades, for a maximum of 30 days. A written request from a physician is required.

Parking Areas
Temporary medical permits are valid in lots labeled “Staff”. Please watch for spaces or areas within these lots that may have additional restrictions. These permits are also valid in time zones for the time designated, and in loading zones for 20 minutes. Please note these permits are not valid in disabled spaces, restricted areas, restricted spaces, reserved spaces, metered spaces, coastal access spaces or lots/spaces marked for vendors.

Applying
Permits or upgrades must be obtained from the Permit Sales Department located at Parking Services Office

Renewal
Permits are valid for 30 days and are not eligible for renewal. If an extended permit is needed we suggest that you contact the Department of Motor Vehicles regarding obtaining a disable placard

Payment Options
Current valid permit holders can obtain an upgrade at no additional cost. Individuals who do not have a current permit will be charged $56.00 for a 30 day permit. Payment must be made at the time of purchase. Permits may be paid for by cash, check or credit card.
