Eligibility
Visitors who will be using the campus frequently are eligible to purchase long term permits. These permits provide a substantial discount over the daily rates.
Parking Areas
Restrictions regarding visitor parking
vary by lot. Certain lots allow visitor parking at all times, while other lots only
allow visitor parking after 5:00PM and on weekends. There are a small number of
lots on campus that are reserved for specific permit holders at all times, and no
visitor parking is allowed. Please refer to the lot entrance sign to find the appropriate
lot for your permit type. Please note that there may be specific spaces or areas
within these lots that are marked with other restrictions.
Visitor permits
are also valid in time zones for the time designated, and in loading zones for 20
minutes. Please note these permits are not valid in restricted areas, restricted
spaces, reserved spaces, metered spaces, or lots/spaces marked for vendors. These permits are not valid for parking at the
off campus housing complexes.
Applying
Long term visitor permits can be purchased
at our
Parking Services Office.
Renewal
A new permit will need
to be purchased from Parking Services when the existing permit expires.
Payment Options
There are a number of different permits and payment types that can be used.
Permits available for visitors are as follows:
$432 for a yearly permit (July through
June)
$324 for the academic school year (Fall, Winter and Spring quarters)
$113
for the summer (July through September)
$56 for a monthly permit (30-day)
$12 for a monthly Night & Weekend permit
Permits may be purchased with cash, credit card, check or electronic check. A permit
purchased during the school year is prorated and the appropriate fee charged for
the remainder of the year. Permits no longer being used may be turned in for a refund.
